"I researched some of those involved in the Sundance Channel's film on how we are losing our civil liberities...."

We're losing our civil liberties?

I can't think of one civil liberty I've lost due to the
Patriot Act. I can't think of a single instance where I had
to think about what I was about to do for fear of the
implications of the Patriot Act. NOT ONE!

Perhaps you can list how deeply it has impacted your life.
Please list all of them for us.

And please link me to the alleged evidence you claim you
found. I'm really interested in reading about how terrible my
life has become under the Patriot Act.

"Representative Peter DeFazio from Orgeon was against voting in the USA Patriot Act when it was discovered that the version adopted by the House and Senate had been altered by Ashcroft."

OK, explain to me how this dude voted for what he thought was
the Patriot Act, but that version was later "altered" by
Ashcroft & it never became a huge firestorm of controversy in
the liberal MSM. There is absolutely no doubt they would have
made this headline news until both Ashcroft & Bush resigned
in shame & disgrace. It's no secret the MSM absolutely hate
Ashcroft. So how did this so completely escape their radar
screen?

Hell, if I knew this really happened I'd be outraged to no
end. Why didn't this become even a minor issue ever?

I can't wait for this explanation.

"David Cole, law professor at Georgetown said the implication was that anyone who questioned it was a traitor."

So you substitute your personal opinion & conjecture for
another person's unsubstantiated OPINION.

What does that prove other than unsubstantiated opinions are
OFF TOPIC on this thread?

"Barbara Oshansky head of the Center for Constitutional Rights spoke about the arresting of immigrants immediately. That their rights and privileges under the constitution Due process of law were flagrantly disregarded."

So she opines. Where is the evidence that any of this
actually happened in the real world?

Why hasn't the MSM been all over this?

Perhaps it's all wild speculation & tin-foil-hat conspiracy theories?

So far, this doesn't even pass the stink test.
