I got into it, growing up and visiting relatives. I've heard all the stories and my grandmother has numerous records. They I found someone whad the same great grandfather. His name was the same of my brother's, and he sent me a article on our family, his and mine, so ours. He was in NC, where my father grew up. There are more details, but that is the jist of it
