haven't had insurance for self or family for 15 years and saved hundreds of thousands.

i doubt it. i have paid for myself and family for more than 15 years and it has cost well under 100K. i consider it money well spent. a major trauma could cost much more than 100K in America. a friend had a premature baby last year and with treatment the whole thing cost over half a mil.

minus what I pay my Chinese doctor! -ggg-

unfortunately, Chinese medicine hasn't done much for life expectancy in China over the years. Japanese have the longest life expectancy in the world thanks to their adoption of Western medicine, with a little accupuncture and Kanpo (Chinese medicine) on the side. intelliigent Western medicine, combined with an intelligent non-Western diet and exercise, is the obvious combination which improves life expectancy across a population.
