All the framers were rich and some were inventors (both Jefferson and Franklin) Some favored manufactures making huge profits (Hamilton). That's why the government can grant patent monoplies for useful inventions. Framers were rich arrogant white guys. They all drove really big SUVs.... I do think that Franklin, Paine and maybe Mark Twain (to jump ahead a century) would fun with the purple pill game. The New Dealers (Ickes, F.Roosevelt, etc.) would be spinning over Big Pharma's profits. Hook 'em to a generator and have make electricty for the TVA. They'd like that.
