Hi Ron,

When the phony "Karen Ryan" story first broke, I confronted the local TV news director at this station:

He was unaware of the scandal, but assured me that his station had not run the propaganda piece. They've run other suspicious items on the local evening news, and I wouldn't doubt that they've had some government propagada slipped into the mix, and NBC is bad enough on its own with its half-baked informercials posing as news items.

I like your idea of approaching the advertisers, should any egregious propaganda begin showing up on the news segments. That seems like it would have an immediate impact on the news editors.
