Either way there is a difference between "a right to keep and bear arms", and "a right to form organized military units that are not answerable to any level of American government".

Well, we had that discussion once, and differ on the meaning of the 2'nd Amendment. Whenever one falls back on diagraming a sentence (or worse invoking a language expert to clarify it) in order to explain the meaning, I conclude the sentence was poorly worded. It happens all the time in real life. With something as important as the Constitution, it should be very carefully worded.
