"no offense but why do you keep looking to the Dems to do something?" No offense taken. When I refer to the Dems, I mean the party. Given that there isn't a viable other party, the Republicans sure ain't going to do it, so the only other thing left is a general uprising. I'd prefer to avoid that, there is a lot of social upheaval that would come hard on the heels of something like that. At least with organized change things happen slowly enough for people to adjust and they feel less inclined to grab a gun or molotovs and make their own mark. It very well may come to that, though. Its been several years........the Dems have been unable to come up with an effective counter attack. Ultimately, this country and its democracy are the responsibility of Americans. It may fall to them to do something. ted
