One of things I found amusing and interesting is the fact that string theory is a construct of ideas that at the present time there is no way to test. It is a construct that will not violate what we know, but there is presently no way to test what it predicts in extra demensions or other... hmmmm stuff, strings, gravitons. Several of the physicists state by definition that it is not science it is philosophy. Science is about testable hypothesis. Science is an extended exercise in curve fitting. As data points become known and positioned, attempts are made to find equations that fit the observed data. In so many ways the search for truth, "The theory of everything" is so very very like the religious search for who is God and what is his will. As we, Man look and find answers and understanding, we find more and more questions raised by every answer.
