well I think the tech companies at least are at their most innovative now, thats the whole problem I have with this economic funk. Google has at least the same prospects ahead of it as msft did 14 years ago. All the companies that are mentioned in John Battelle's weblog seem like exciting ventures to me. Companies are efficient but the market is the problem. It was probably the same in the 70s, the tech companies at that time were just breaking out of the gate. That didn't matter though. Here we are again.
