Well even novices know that if the quotes are absent, one is reading the writers impression of what a person said.

Novices often find truth using simplicity and often self proclaimed experts make fools of themselves.

The simple way to find 4 replies all giving writers impressions of what Ms Rice said.
google.com

Simple is providing direct links to the specific original data or article.

But if malibuca is an expert google user, why did this expert fail to find the direct quote presented by Mr. Latif and make libilous assertions.

One more detail in answering the question.

malibuca, liar or idiot or both, let the reader decide.

The facts. A google of "Pakistan is a model country for the Muslim world" returns 6 results. The first is a link to the article presented and quoted by Mr. latif.

A google of "could be a model for the Muslim world" returns 9 results, most seem to refer to WOLFOWITZ and Turkey.

No result pointed to the Dawn reports as reported by malibuca.

And even though in Mr. Latifs post that has the entire article with the the quote.

This is what malibuca said.

Iqbal Latif claims that Rice said"Pakistan is a model country for the Muslim world"

Another stark example of a distortion of what was actually said.

Perhaps Latif does not understand the difference between "is a model country for the Muslim world" and "could be a model for the Muslim world".
