Here's a reality check. You joined and your first post is on a guru thread, dominated in the past by those who would defend hedge funds and Market makers.

Your argument is that because futures pits are largely speculative "casinos," equity markets should be the same.

The nature of equity markets, ie..,formation of capital is much different from futures pits. Apples and oranges. The only real similarity is that you can lose money or make money.

Further, you try to cloud the issue by speaking about retail investors. Obviously, you know how difficult it is for retail investors to legitimately short small caps so it's a bogus argument.

Why is it that those crying loudest about investigation into "naked shorts" are precisely those who defend hedge funds and MM's? Me thinks they doth protest too much.
