For example, the Twins could tell their food vendors, Coke, Pepsi, Budweiser, the souveneir vendors, security firms, etc. that if they do business with the St. Paul Saints, they would lose their contracts with the Twins. That action would be a violation under the Sherman Act, but MLB is exempt from the Sherman Act.

Offering St Paul fans free tickets to Twins games on the nights St Paul's plays would constitute a monopolistic restraint of trade. The Twins are exempt from such a charge.
