"Should a worker at a national chain such as Waldon Books be guaranteed the right to not sell Bibles to Christians because of their personal beliefs?"

Why should anyone be FORCED to sell anything? What if they are FORCED to sell an ignorant (and/or dangerous religion)?? Stop being ignorant...

Buying a book is a matter of life and death; and I'm playing fast and lose????

The answer is yes they should not be forced to violate their conscience. If they accepted the job saying they would sell contraceptives and then changed their minds, I think they should just quit, or their employer has the right to terminate them. In Canada we are living in a fascist state that wants to stifle free speech. I reject that notion and will probably be prosecuted for my beliefs in the not too distant future. Careful what you ask for!

I really need to get some work done today, I'm going to Africa next week and I can't go until I get my work done. I'll check in later. Have a good day
