FYI, the Maher Arar case is considered so serious here in Canada, that the federal government initiated a commission to investigate all aspects of his abduction by the United States. There are pages and pages of documents pertaining to this on the Canadian government's Arar Commission official website:
ararcommission.ca
The Arar case is NOT some faked CBS newstory as you would like to fantasize that it is. And believe me when I say that all Canadians are paying plenty of attention to this case as it appears to set a precedent for how citizens of our country can be treated like "disappeared" by the United Banana Republic of America.

If you had doubts about CBS, you could very easily Google myriad other sources about Arar's case.

Since your interest seems to be NOT in finding out the facts but just to smear and attack, I will do it for you. Here, read to your heart's content:

Deported Terror Suspect Details Torture in Syria
washingtonpost.com

OUTSOURCING TORTURE
newyorker.com

Canadian citizen Maher Arar was subjected to torture, repeated interrogation and horrific conditions while being held without charge for over a year in Syria.

Now do answer the questions I asked in the previous post:

What possible reason can you possibly think of that justifies abducting a Canadian citizen and dropping him in some Syrian jail at the mercy of Syrian jailers?

What is wrong with detaining him in US if he is suspected with something?

What is wrong with sending him to Canada (where he was going anyway) if you don't want him on US soil?
