I lean towards agreeing with you, but I have seen Michael Schiavo and read interviews with him, and I am not totally certain of his motives. There is just a slight uneasiness there, and another slight uneasiness about whether Terri is in a persistent vegetative state. I also realize the Republicans in the House and Senate are running with this because of politics. I don't think someone's life should be a political football. But on the other hand, I think an open hearing with both of the Schiavos there might clarify the national debate this has become.
