These guys misunderestimilate the ability of this President to manipulate the wee brains of the gullible in this country. He convinced them to vote for him against the economic best interests of 90% of Americans because he offered them a chance to keep gays from being married. The majority of the military voted for them though he has screwed them from day one. So, the fact that he wants to screw up any small chance they may still have of retiring with dignity may not be a slam dunk loser as the Times supposes.
