Memory isn't the problem although OS X is terrible with less than 512MB. It is the video card that will cause the problems. A lot of the nifty features of Tiger will not run on the Radeon 9200 but will be processed by the CPU. That'll slow the whole experience. Btw, the info relating to this was removed by Apple in the last few days. Seems Apple doesn't like the public to know the truth about it's own products.
