Amy and all, re: Terri Schiavo, this isn't about the "right to die," or states rights, or partisan politics. This is about a husband who wants his invalid wife to die so that he can get his hands on an inheritance:

The feud has taken on elements of a soap opera, with allegations that it began as a fight over more than $1 million awarded to Terri Schiavo in a medical malpractice case which her husband stood to inherit. Michael Schiavo has also been accused by his in-laws of having a conflict of interest in wanting his wife dead because he has started a new family with another woman.

You're kidding? He is married to Terry, while he had two kids with his "girlfriend" !!!

I don't get this at all.

This is absolutely worse than polygamy. Why is it legal?

Adultery isn't illegal.

Amy,
at the minimum, people should wake up and write their wills, have them notarized and recorded. Plenty of software available you can write your will that should be valid in most states I think....

Plenty of background using google on Terri, both sides Amy.
