My style includes confrontation when I see stupidity, especially when it include the unjust casting of aspersions on good men.

Very noble!

But whatever became of "changing hearts and minds is about changing the course of the river?"

The whole essence of "changing hearts and minds" entails convincing others who don't agree with you. But when your approach is one that causes people to make a pointed decision to IGNORE you, a certain amount of soul-searching as relates to your style, is in order. To dismiss all who disagree with you as being either stupid or dishonest is a cop-out.

More to the point, do you really think that with your track record on SI, you have the standing to be chiding others about "changing hearts and minds", "changing the course of the river", etc?

Just to reiterate the statistics from your profile: after being a member for 7 years, and after over 23,000 posts you have been able to convince only 35 members on SI that your posts are worth reading and you have persuaded 51 members to ignore anything that you ever post - thereby obviating the likelihood of ever "changing (the) hearts and minds" of those individuals.

Incidentally, there were 36 members who bookmarked you when I first brought this to your attention, earlier this afternoon and now there are 35 - so the number has since dropped by one. Perhaps, it calls for a review of "my style" - as you put it.

I, however, shall remain open to what you have to say - even though the persuasiveness of your argument is not immediately apparent.

As far as Mr. Latif is concerned, I was recently told by a couple of my associates that I did meet him a while back. I honestly do not recall it - though one of these associates told me that after meeting him, I apparently said that he seemed a charming man. It does not change the fact that I find some of his postings downright misleading - and agenda driven.

Have a good weekend!
