Since ballots go through the mail, tampering with them would be a federal offense and might really offend those calm postal workers. I'd like to see Republicans try and intimidate postal workers who carry mace. :)

It's like the old saw that, if a company wants to send you some info (say a stock tip), insist on it coming through the mail instead of Fed Ex or other private service. If they're lying they're then guilty of mail fraud.
