No, she still had her brain...but 70 days of the Doc's saying she would die...etc...and still being able to hear and not to say "Help, I'll still in here" had to have been terrible.

I wonder, since we are on a very slippery slope, what the citizens would be saying if this were a suspected terrorist, and who was in this same situation...Would that make any difference?

Couldn't believe Terri's husband's attorney today...He is now making this political....Saying the Democrats have to stop the House and Senate from acting...

Just told my husband we have to recheck our Living Wills, and make sure we have the word "palliative" care in there...I know I said hydration, no food, but do want check and to be sure there are drugs available if they are necessary.

According to the report in National Review I posted yesterday, Schiavo's diagnosis of persistent vegetative state was made on the basis of a CT scan, not an MRI or PET scan, and the neurologists cited in the article opined that this was not sufficient to make that diagnosis.
