I believe you are describing R&D but nothing says it has to happen here. The US does not have a monopoly on brainpower. In fact, given the idiot over half the population voted for I waould say we are in dire need of education. Mish

Greenspan has the system hooked on real estate. What has the real estate industry ever invented? It is supposed to be a benefactor of a higher standard of living. Instead this new ownership society makes it the creator. How many talented rocket scientists or engineers are going to be working in India or at Home Depot instead of using their talents to be at the forefront of the next generation of innovators in this country? I'm sure Mish will figure out what we were saying after a good night's sleep. He's a smart guy.
