Oh, thank you Karen. The site should be of great value to me. The Allens were scattered all over VT. in its early history. Might still be as far as I know....wouldn't it be interesting to look at a VT phone book? In my search, I've been directed back to VT several times. I'm ashamed to say I haven't spent much time working on my genealogy lately, but I keep gathering little tid bits here and there and add them to my file when I find them in preparation for the time when I can get focused.
