I agree, and the very idea that one would starve a person and deprive them of water is outrageous. How cruel. What a horrible and unnecessary way to die. So, in summary, many people are asking, myself included, whats the RUSH here, why not do MODERN TESTS to see JUST what is involved here, Why not try some Rehab? Ie why rush it right now? I dont know the ultimate answer, but I do believe we ought to be sure ESPECIALLY when her parents etc want to take over her care. jdn

Was her family prohibited from providing additional care for her? Her brother was on the news this morning saying that a speech pathologist has stated that if she "could get her hands on her she would have the woman speaking". Why then has that not happened? I understand that the husband has withheld funds, but, that would not stop me from paying out of my pocket for her care if she was my sister or daughter.
