What I said does not imply that the soils are always enriched over weathered gold deposits. It happens often but not always. I've seen areas where we had 1 g/t background in a soil over a homogeneous rock which had < 100 ppbs gold. On the same property, I saw soil that had nothing over quartz veins grading > 8 g/t. That's mother nature- never straight forward <g>.
