I read old Charlie almost every other day in my paper here.. Along with George Will. The latter has more credence. I think Charlie is very one sided. He stretches the truth like Rush, Hannity and crew. Imagine DR. Hannity projecting his opinion into the fray here about the feeding tube. He seems to now opine that she can be cured of whatever. Boy all of the Republicans are getting into this to curry a few votes. Again you opine with no proof. Today read that Cisco is sending ten thousand jobs abroad to China. Great.. Yes and the US company can create larger profits and sell cheaper products worldwide bringing more money into the US. And I have to ask: Are you for keeping developing nations as 3rd world countries? We are so far underneath the economics of China and other countries now that is they stop buying our bonds we are going to go bankrupt. <i/> Oh woe is us, doom and gloom everywhere. We are still the engine that drives the world, I heard this same bs in the '70's with regard to Japan. Again your perception is just that. That and the fact that none of our children will ever know peace as the terrorists will always be there, lurking, waiting for retribution but you cannot see that. We cannot kill them all. We cannot stamp out religions. We cannot change their beliefs and they will never forgive us for our invasion of Iraq. Mark my words as unfortunately you will see that in spite of everything I am going to be right. SADLY SO. Simply amazing that you venture out of you bed in the morning, it's so frightening.... In fact everyday things get better, the insurgents in Iraq are losing their grip, violence is dropping. The Iraqis are extremely optimist about the direction of their country. Other middle eastern countries are moving toward democracy. Yet you see only clouds, only because you fall victim to the hate that has consumed and taken over you party. Iraqis now go out to seek to find out who the guilty families of attacks are so the violence can be ended. I had a discussion with a woman in our area (yesterday) whose sister works in Iraq, She told her sister it is nothing like portrayed on the mainstream news. She is living in one of Saddam's mansion and charged with turning it into a vacation resort. How about that, they're expecting tourism in Iraq, how can that be??? Things are going sooo poorly, so you opine. No one wants to stamp out religion, only the extreme factions that somehow believe that killing Americans is their ticket to heaven. Remember, it's the left that believed we would lose 10's of thousands of soldiers by going into Iraq, and the same group salivated as the death toll approached 1000. How sad that the left reveled in a milestone loss of life only because they thought it improved their cause in getting their bankrupt candidate Kerry elected. Then the left (including Kerry) wanted to delay the elections because the country wasn't ready. The elections went off with a turn out that is truly phenomenal. Again The left predicted that 1000 of voters would be murdered for voting. Again and again the left has been wrong. But, go ahead and fall into their trap and funk. Things get better everyday, but you refuse to participate. Jim

Almost everyone pontificating, speculating & engaging in demagoguery in the Schiavo case turns my stomach. My heart aches for & my prayers go out to Terri Schiavo & those who genuinely care for her. For now that subject is OFF TOPIC on this thread. EOD

You insist on making unsubstantiated opinions on this thread when you know full well they are not welcome here unless you can back them up with real facts from credible sources.

Why do you repeatedly state your unsubstantiated opinions on this thread as though it were fact? This thread is not open to speculative, false, distorted & unsubstantiated BS stated as fact. This thread is here to expose reality defying POV's much like your baseless personal opinions above. If you cannot back up your personal opinions with real facts that can be independently verified, please refrain from posting them here.
