Ted, actually, I didn't mean it in the way you interpreted it.

People that are cut off from their feelings are more likely to be surprised by their feelings and thus not manage them properly than people who are more aware of their feelings. That's the liability I meant. Not the other way around. I think people are people.


Usually people cut off from their feelings because it works for them. Some its because things were so painful when they were kids, that it was the only way to survive. Others because feelings make it difficult to make practical if wrong decisions.

IMO they are two different kinds of people. I was talking about the latter. I suspect you were talking about the former.
