B.S. There's a lot of shame and denial within the Japanese culture, but that does not equal ignorance.

Most Japanese feel that WWII started with the bombing of Hiroshima and ended with the bombing of Nagasaki(or is it the other way around?). They were the victims of the war.

Your "views" would be just as popular in Korea as the "views" of neo-Nazis in America who deny the Holocaust happened.

I lived in Japan for five years, and this is the first time I have heard anyone say the above. Never heard a single thing like that from a single Japanese person ever. Ever.
