re: Isn't their behavior similar to the Germans' reaction to Hitler.......privately, the good Germans said he was crude and pushy.....that they hated his swagger.......but then they were reminded that Hitler had accomplished some important issues dear to their hearts like stopping payment on WW I reparations. So publicly they supported him and his policies. Did that make them better than the Nazis? Unfortunately, that rings true. Even more reason to get the "conservatives" not to "appease" the Neo's. Remember, the conservatives have been mostly out of power for a long time. It must feel good to have some power, even if it's on the dark side. We need to appeal to their basic beliefs and love of country. On the other hand, a third party (of thinking people) sounds like an idea that is more than ripe. John
