Now, you may opine that in this particular case, this particular woman has not been deprived of life without due process of law, but that's another issue entirely.

That doesn't make the law unconstitutional. If you find something unconstitutional about the Florida law, please lay it out for me. Otherwise the question is only whether the due legal process specified in the law was adhered to in this case.

I'm getting whiplash from all this hopping from the general to the specific and back again. It matters whether the problem to be fixed is the law or whether there was something hinky about this particular case. Is your issue with the law or the case? If it's the case, as this post suggests, how does your earlier concern about the majority play?
