Mondo Cane did not have a plot. It was just a compendium of all the things in the world that suck. The only one I can remember is this lake in Africa that is so alkaline that the flamingos wading in it start growing concrete shoes and can't escape from it. It wasn't in the movie, but there's another lake in Africa that emits poisonous gas periodically and kills every living thing that breaths it. Oh, no, this movie was way beyond the capability of Michael Moore. It actually made a point. filmcritic.com
