It would seem to be much cheaper to teach pilots the ethics of their job than to pay off everybody that they offend with infantile behavior.

After the Tailhook debacle, it would seem that the military cannot afford to ignore that the reflexes and attributes necessary for jet flight do not necessarily translate to good sense.

I believe the investment in our military officers is so great that it should give them the moral and ethical tools to preclude their dabbling in bad behavior in the cockpit.

Does anybody know whether military pilot training has a course in ethics?
