If you're implying that the number is exaggerated, I really don't think that's the case. Nearly every Jew I know has at least a distant relative that died in the Holocaust.

And the most important number is 11 million -- the TOTAL number of people who died in the Holocaust. My grandmother's Polish Catholic cousin was killed by Hitler as well...
