And the institutions that have served us well since WWII are being marginalized. The institutions supported by Clinton, Bush 1, Reagan, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower...

I'll assume you mean the UN. The UN has become all but useless. Why? Because it behaved just like Clinton did. When Saddam violated the terms of the ceasefire, instead of acting with force, and removing him AT ONCE, it did nothing. Clinton, same thing.

The organization, had it had any "teeth" would have simply told Saddam he either complies or he's out. I think the Iraq War has been a better solution, but that might have avoided the war, if that is what you view as a better solution. But the UN (and the Left) are weak. Bush is strong and could give a crap about politics. He'll use politics to accomplish his objectives, but the man is steely, there is no question about it.

What makes you think the Neo's have a better idea, when did you buy into Nation Building and huge deficits and sacrificing US kids for economic politics?

I didn't "buy into" any of the items you listed. However, I believe Bush's actions have made the world a hell of a lot safer and will continue to do so in the future. The cost has been high in American lives lost and injured; but the result is far better than I think could have been achieved by weak leadership.

When did you become such a pompous asshole?

I suspect that being right, so consistently, over such a long period of time, has that effect.

Isn't he frigging amazing?!! He weaves his stories and expects us to swallow them hook, line and sinker. I guess they fall for them in Hot Springs.
