People come to the Internet for all sorts of reasons: some to be angry, some to feel hurt. There is a hypersensitivity of many Christians - you can see it in America as evidenced by almost any matter about which there is a religious element, especially on Middle East affairs, and even matters of secular rule. So much for rendering unto Caesar.

Some Christians want to take America back from anyone who isn't part of that one religion viewpoint. Why? They truly believe that they are an endangered species of some kind, even with a fundamentalist in the White House who says "the jury is still out on Evolution".

The reason for their loss of hegemony is that so many other religions are now visible (and many Christian sects are becoming more tolerant). Further, most non-Christians are not content with hiding amongst the weeds anymore. The genie is out and there will NEVER be a time where every city with houses of worship is Christian only. Well, I for one am not very sympathetic to the plight of the radical Christian. For most of the 2000 years since its advent, the rest of humanity has been under the thumb of one religion or another.

I think in plurality and tolerance that there is room for people like me. Maybe you, but I'm not sure yet. Check back with me.
