The 1918 "Spanish Flu" spread globally in a time when there was no air travel. A similar pandemic now will (note that I don't say would) be devastating. It's only a matter of time.

I was never concerned about duck to duck transmission. It was you who stated that stopping air travel would not be effective because ducks would still fly freely (you used different words). I never understood that reasoning, frankly.

I still don't understand why quarantining areas where the flue exists is not effective. Perhaps you could explain why in different words?
