Its author no doubt finds it absolutely compelling because it is based on scripture and religious certainty. Are people used to putting up mangers and Merry Christmas signs everywhere? Yes? Should they have been permitted to? No. It was a mistake like not making miners clean up the sulfide mess they left behind their mining operations. We need to clean up the messes left by our ancestors sometimes. Not everything we used to do is good. This is just another mess that needs to be cleaned up. This time it is a constitutional mess. Sometimes it's mine tailings. Gotta go - 'night thread!
