Rrainman,
you are very welcome.. in fact I really appreciated your thoughts on SIA.L (Soco) and then some.

PA Resources has been a great performer and there's no end in sight. I now think that 200 NOK is a reasonable exit 2005 valuation if they play their script as I think they will do... they could be producing more than 10.000bopd if everything works out fine..

will look at that other Lundin firm also..

RR,
greetings from Austria !

VPC.V is surely interesting. The company sounds familiar. Aren't they the partner of ABG.V - Arawak Energy - that's connected to VITOL of Swiss on the ZAO PNG property ??

The recent acquisition also looks appealing...

do you have more on their strategy side ? Their 33% Interest in Rincon LLC (a seismic shop) seems to be quite unusual.. I guess this is something to look into more deeply !

BTW: PA REsources, I heard rumors the reason of the recent surge is a leaked project.. CEO Jansson told me they had NOT conducted a presentation. However he indicated an exciting month of April... He mentioned if they did hedging they would do it with OPTION BASED FLOORS. And he mentioned that this could be used for acquisitions and banks would be happy to underwrite such hedged cashflow !!
