Hanks would make a good choice for "The Code." I'm glad it wasn't Nicholas Cage. He sorta shot his wad on "National Treasure." I enjoyed that one, but it was just unbelievable.

The Davinci Code was a page turner of a book. Every chapter ended with a hook that pulled you right into the next.

I have to read the book and see the movie without any religious insight, as an entertainment. The truth of Biblical facts is largely a matter of faith, filtered through two millenia. Some people say the book is blasphemy, but I'm just going to view it as a thriller without it influencing my religious views.

How about Robert Deniro as the priest???
