It's funny how and why we do something, R~~~.... When I was a kid, I was SURE I wanted to either be an archaeologist, or the second woman on Mars....(being a basic chicken as to not wanting to be the 1st ginnea pig --gg--)

Last night, we were watching something on History channel where archaeologists were so very carefully brushing off bones of a large group of animals that all died at the same time.

It occurred to me at that minute there it was....That I had been doing archaeology all these years....but instead of digging up bones, I'm trying to dig up the lives and times of the people who lived before me. I've always wanted to not only understand their family history, but even more important....WHO were they? WHAT times did they live in? WHAT were the decisions they had to make? WHAT great happiness and sadness did they have in their lives and how did they handle it?

Of course, we can't always get enough info to understand all of that. But I'm trying.

Maybe if you asked her, she might send you either copies of what she has, or would send you the originals and you could make copies. I've done that, after establishing trust....and have been very well rewarded. Good luck to you!
