I remember them -- MacPherson was one of those 'half-size prospectus' outfits that used to peddle shares in things like jojoba bean farms.

Too bad they went tits up. If only I'd taken the $100,000 plunge back in the 90s when they asked, I could have been a rich jojoba bean rancher by now -- where am I gonna get another investment opportunity like that
