imber digs up more good results in Monterde

2005-03-21 16:02 ET - News Release

Mr. Robert Longe reports

KIMBER'S CARMEN DEPOSIT CONTINUES TO DEVELOP

Kimber Resources Ltd. is continuing to obtain favourable results from drilling on its Monterde property in Chihuahua state, Mexico. Drill results reported below fall into four groups: Cocos, Cob and Los Hilos, North Carmen, and core holes. The intersections on the Cob structure will enlarge the Carmen deposit. The northern limits of the Carmen structure are being defined and the Cocos structure 200 metres to the east of Carmen is delivering Carmen-type intersections which are likely to provide additional resources. A map outlining the key mineralized structures and exploration targets on the Monterde property is available on the company's website: www.kimberresources.com/newsletter.html?id=97.

Cocos

In keeping with the first two holes, three of the new holes reveal grades and intervals similar to those found on the Carmen. Three other holes appear to have not reached sufficient depth and deepening is being considered. None of the Cocos intersections have been included in any resource estimate. The structure remains open in both directions. The symbol g/t represents grams per tonne.
