You think humans have any major learning abilities? I read Iliad and Odeyssey a couple of years ago, and was amazed at how little we had learnt since.... We just happen to have a larger memory cache. I suppose learning abilities are not very different. Neither are analytical abilities IMO. Else we would have figured out a lot of this social coflict stuff by now...<smile> However, in my opinion we have a narcissistic illusion that we are superior. Different, I concede. Superior ? I don't know. Especially if I do not know if animals really care about being computer professionals, or flying aircrafts. I guess they would towards their purpose in life. And do a better job of it than do humans. Just an abstract thought...the depth is worth exploring.
