China is cheaper on all fronts, not just the sock industry.

How many people do you think you could hire in China for a 100k engineer here?

Re: So there will always be plenty of jobs with companies like Cisco, right here in the good ole U.S. of A.

I am sure that is what people once said about the textile industry.

this economy is in trouble mindmeld. I'm sure you heard greenie today talk inflation. Naz below 2K, its another bear market year, this is year #5 of a bear for growth stocks. We may well be heading to the valuations we saw way back when, who knows. I think recession here is a real possibility don't you?
