Pinellas county still has land with orange groves? Or are you talking about a tree in the back yard?

re: I get my OJ from CA...thank you very much! <g>

Your loss, my Valencias are ripe and I make a pitcher of fresh OJ every Saturday morning. The downside is they are also blooming right now, and the air is so sweet with their scent that I sneeze for the first two hours in the morning.

There is nothing like picking oranges right off the branch and then squeezing them into juice. Its like drinking nectar from the gods. And there is nothing like taking a nap in an orange grove in bloom.

Do you notice a difference between the fall and spring crops of oranges in FLA? In CA, the fall crop is much sweeter.
