Again Army and Marine Generals disagree with you on what the appropriate force size was.

1 - They also disagree with each other.

2 - Its impossible for you to tell if they disagree with me as to the appropriate force size because I have made no posts about what I consider to be an appropriate force size, or at least have made no such posts recently. It sounds odd but it is possible, in some situations, to have overwhelming force but still have a less than appropriate force size.

Compare the size of the force used in the first gulf war, which was orchestrated by General Powell.

Compare it in what way? Obviously the numbers where much bigger the first time around. And in other wars before that the numbers where even bigger. What conclusions are you trying to draw from those facts?

The force level in the 1st war was larger but was also easily more than what was needed (of course its usually better to have too much than not enough), and our military was much bigger at that time.
