The next time Congress debates further "reform" of the rules for conducting elections, it would behoove all of us to learn who is really behind the effort, and what their true motives might be.

This really applies to any effort to reform or make laws. I've been very suspicious of the poll numbers coming out of the media regarding SS reform. I have a hard time believing that only 33% of us believe personal savings accounts are a good idea. As a whole, Americans haven't been encouraged to save, but considering that most of us were raised by or exposed to those who experienced the great depression, you could conclude that more boomers would support personal saving accounts than not.

It is also very difficult for me to believe it when I hear that most of us don't understand what is happening within the SS system. The people making these assertions must account for their allegations imo.
