Agree Roebear. Yesterday was a rough one for the perma bulls

heavily invested in the PMs awa some of the small energy stocks.

As we've seen many times before, those with large losses sometimes show up on other threads with a chip on their shoulder amplified made even larger by a bottle of Jim Bean.

People who can't handle the risks of market with a cool head shouldn't be investing. In any case, they won't be posting here.

I can be argued,but not proved ,that Saudi Arabia conspired with the US to flood the market with oil thus denying russia of much needed oil revenues at a criticle moment....the out come was the collapse of the soviet economy.....intentionally or not.
With regard to china same game in reverse is not all together out of the question.
For those who find it hard to believe america could be so clever, look to George Kennans x paper published annonomously in Foriegn Policy nearly 45 years ago.
