I still think there is good chance of a final strong rally before the bears take over. The most likely catalyst -- a drop in oil prices.

That would not surprise me in the least. They start discounting a world without Greenspan in June-July. We all know how markets hate uncertainty. The sell in May and go away except the third year of the election cycle usually works. Still unsure whether it is a flat yield curve or a major backup in long term interest rates that does in this economy. Looking for merger mania in tech land and huge percentage up moves in recently destroyed small cap techs and the Dow to get very close to all time highs before the big collapse begins taking the Dow back to 6k by fall 2006..
