Ok....Yes I did post your post to another thread. I'm not insane (current mistake excluded) but you may think I'm rude and thats fine.

Now...for the topic that lead me to post your post on another thread. I have to admit I was in disbelief that you think we should pay kids to graduate and not get pregnant. It seems to me that we are lowering the bar if we do those things. Kids have an obligation to themselves, society and their parents to accomplish the minimal standards mentioned above. My approach would be much different. Kids not making the grade in school would be sent to a type of military school where they would learn discipline and respect. They also wouldn't get a drivers license unless they we making grades.

This is about responsibility. If kids can't display the ability to handle responsibility in school then they certainly shouldn't be operating a car. Paying them to be responsible is not the answer and it send the wrong message to our youth about who is driving the bus......and it aint them! Discipline and fear can be real motivators
